advice

After you have shared your evidence with other people, further action is often needed:

  • Move from local action, to national or international action
  • Link up with other people interested in similar issues
  • Make complaints, or call for inquiries
  • Campaign online and offline
  • Speak about your evidence in committees and answer consultations
  • Look for new opportunities to use the ideas you have gathered
  • Share your evidence on this website

Feedback these things to other children and young people to keep them involved:

  • A summary of children’s views and recommendations
  • The action that has been planned and taken
  • Any response from decision-makers and their agreed next steps
  • Plans for more follow up action with decision makers
  • How children can be involved further follow up action
